As part of the 29th October Community Open Day, Chirnside Development Group organised a photo competition.
We are particularly grateful to the three professional judges, Derek Hood, Jim Gibson and Phil McLean who did such a good job of judging the 50 entries to the 'Chirnside 2011' Photography Competition.
The judges provided comprehensive notes and thoughts on each photograph.
The quality of entries was very high, but the judges unanimously agreed on the winner 'My Girls Walking' by Emma Anderson.

Emma wasn't available to collect her prize, from Gala Queen Ellie Jackson, in person but she sent along a delighted hubby to do the honours!
